Gildred Racing, known for their MINI Super Cooper builds, introduces their first Tesla-powered 1971 MINI Super Cooper EV. Combining classic style with high performance and range, it’s available for pre-order starting at $140,000.
This eco-friendly powerhouse, equipped with a Tesla drive unit from a dual motor Model S or X, offers a commendable 150-mile range per charge. Each Super Cooper EV model is a fusion of vintage charm and modern amenities, including air conditioning and premium sound. Gildred emphasizes customization, tailoring each commission to a client’s specifications, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and tailored driving dynamics. The flagship model, a 1971 Leyland MINI, features a Riviera Blue finish with a classic ’70s interior.
